Cricklade Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Result.
A neighbourhood plan is designed to give some control to residents over land use in their area although it must be in conformity with Wiltshire Council policy ( The Core Strategy) and national legislation.
The Cricklade Neighbourhood Plan came into effect when it was passed by residents in a referendum held on 8th March 2018. In addition, it nrings a greater level of expenditure to be spent locally under the Community Infrastructure Levy charged on new development.
Cricklade Town Council are pleased to announce that the proposal was carried and the Declaration of Result is attached.
