Jane Hunt, Library Service Volunteer Coordinator writes:
We are currently looking for extra volunteers to get involved at Cricklade Library. Our Community Library Volunteers help to extend the library’s weekly opening hours with two volunteer led sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 – 4 pm. This is a great role if you enjoy meeting people of all ages and have a love of books and reading. Our volunteers provide a friendly welcome to all visitors and assist them with using the library services. This includes dealing with straightforward enquiries; assisting with the self-service machines; shelving the stock and helping customers to log on to the public access computers. We are looking for volunteers who can be flexible about their availability and are able to do a minimum of two sessions per month.
The Home Library Service are also looking for volunteers - find out more here
If you are interested in volunteering at Cricklade Library and would like further details about the Community Library Volunteer role, please contact Jane Hunt either on 01225 713792 or by email at jane.hunt@wiltshire.gov.uk
